The For the Future Group sincerely apologizes for being inactive over the past few months. As many know, our students were faced with NCEA External exams at the end of 2016 and then went off to a well deserved holiday after the efforts they put in throughout 2016.
We are glad to inform you that we will continue our efforts in this group and our efforts to improve the environmental status of our community. The group will continue to meet once week to discuss the construction of the plastic bottle greenhouse. We will start cleaning out the plastic bottles we have collected while other members will sort out the brick molds for the plastic bottles.
We will continue to update this blog with our progress as often as possible. If you have any plastic bottles that you would like to give in, please bring them to Ms. Munthree in W05. We are For the Future Group. We are a group of innovative and committed learners from Alfriston College who want to improve the status of the environment. The group consists of 2 teachers and 15 students. We plan to do this by impacting individual lives as well as the community as a whole.We have access to a range of resources and hope utilizing these will benefit the cause.
